This is my third Fire Stick. I now have it on all TVs. I really like the ease of use. It streams well and I am able to download new apps that my Smart TV can't get. Very pleased.

Since the Fire TV stick was announced, I've heard a lot of people wonder if it was something worth picking up, essentially asking "what does this thing do that my TV doesn't do already?" The answer is going to be different for different people, but here's an easy way to think about it; Amazon Fire TV Stick is an excellent purchase if: -Your TV is not a "smart" TV. Meaning your TV or dvd player did not come pre-loaded with apps such as Netflix, Youtube, Pandora etc... But I have not used the 4K stick yet because I have not ran across movies with 4K yet..

Way better than previous version. My wife noticed big difference on tv picture. My favorite part is the voice control.

I upgraded from my older generation Firestick and love it. It’s definitely faster and having the volume control on the remote itself make sure it so much better and handier! Also got it for an awesome price

It was easy to setup and seems to be able to stream content without lagging or buffering like I have experienced on some older model streaming devices. I definitely recommend this product.

Overall it's a really good streaming stick. It's fast, it's compatible with all the streaming services you could want, including HBO Max. It gives you the ability to open apps and control them just by asking Alexa. In addition, it's compatible with Ring products so you can see who is at your front door just by asking Alexa to show you. In comparison, the Chromecast with Google TV won't do this. The only issue I've had is when attempting to pair it with a couple of echo premium's to create a home theater set up. Although it was a pretty straightforward setup, the actual execution was hit or miss. The audio at times fluctuates, plays static, or just completely drops. Which is really frustrating because the only resolution at that point is to unpair and to go through the setup process again. A real pain! A feature that's highly touted by Amazon shouldn't be this buggy or difficult to implement properly. If you're looking for a solid streaming stick that plays well with all the streaming services (including HBOMax/Apple TV) then you can't go wrong with this version. If however you're looking for a home theater setup to pair with echo speakers or the studio speaker, then upgrade to the Fire TV Cube.

I travel a lot and this is the best streaming stick for people that stay in hotels. Roku makes you connect to a wifi hotspot the Roku creates and then you set it up on your phone. 9/10 this doesn't work. This thing is super simple to setup in a hotel. You just enter the information you get at the front desk and BAM you're up and running. I use Roku for almost everything else but for traveling. If you need a streaming device to use at a hotel, and anywhere else, buy this now. I got this for $25 during black Friday and it was definitely worth it.

I bought this to replace the previous generation Fire TV stick 4k after I learned that the previous generation doesn’t support the Apple TV app. I didn’t expect this to be any better than the one I had before, but aside from app compatibility, it has a couple extra features I like. First, The remote is more user friendly than before, with more buttons and features. Second, the audio used to go out of sync on my previous Fire TV stick, but I haven’t had that issue at all with this one. Overall, I’m glad I upgraded. I don’t think I could have recommended the previous generation, but the new one delivers a much better user experience. I find that I use this more than I ever used the previous generation.

All my streaming up in one package is bloody wonderful. Setup is easy and quick. The live options within some apps like BBC America allows you to watch what their airing currently on cable. A worth buy
