Once I used my own batteries remote connected fine and 3 days later still do not need replacing.

Great upgrade from first edition Fire Stick

No more lagging or double click. There is still room for improvement with regards to random restarts. The new remote is also a huge upgrade with the voice control option. I however found it a bit hard to access the battery compartment.

I prefer Firestick over Roku because...

The Firestick remote control performs so much better. We can be at the opposite side of a room and have no issues. That can not be said for our Roku. We could be in the middle of the same room and had to move around before it would work. We went with the Firestick 4k, it is crystal clear! With the Firestick we can use Alexa. that is a big plus. The price is pretty good for both so either way you go you are getting your moneys worth. Hope this helps!!

Excellent Streaming Fire TV
