It also makes it simple to stream media. Easy as HDMI plug in and let the software do the work. Video quality through it is excellent. It just depends on what kind of TV you have and how your internet service flows. All is good with my household using this product. I'd recommend it.

The one thing that isn't obvious, might be an issue for your installation, and never appears in pictures of the device, is that the Fire Stick needs separate AC power - it doesn't simply draw power from the HDMI connection.
