    Solved a wi fi problem with LG smart TV and ATT reception. Was dropping the signal constantly. Has been working well since installing a month or so ago. Good advice from staff at tha vacaville store.

    I've been a Roku user for a long time. I like to "fool with stuff" -- so I bought the Fire TV Stick because I was curious. It's "ok". It does what it says it will do -- but I don't like being tied to Amazon for the premium channels. Yes, they are there, and I suppose they'd work just fine. But, in the end, I don't find any benefit of the Fire TV stick over other products. If you're starting out, for the first time, streaming video -- it's just fine. But upgrading from another streaming product doesn't get you much.

    I'm very impressed with the Firestick. It's super snappy and responsive. Everything loads up so quickly and there's no lag when navigating menus in any of the apps. Conversely, smart TVs are notorious for having laggy app response. I highly recommend using a Firestick for your streaming.
