Updated a 5 year old lg smart tv that was slow and wouldnt stream paramount plus smoothly. This fixed the problem and is fast. The only thing i would warn about is when you use the fire remote to turn the tv off make sure to pause the tv show you are watching otherwise it played like 6 episodes for us with the tv off in the backround somehow. Just hit pause or exit the app and youll be fine

You don't have to use Prime, if you don't want. You can use any number of streaming services. You can also surf the web via Amazon Silk, their new web browsing app. It's so easy to setup. The Fire Stick is a critical component that now allows us to save $175 per month since terminating our all-in-one, bundle service. I promise, you can do it. Even the non-tech individual could be watching great programming and surfing the web in under an hour.

We have used Playstation Vue since the beginning and sadly that streaming service went away. Needed to find something to use so we could get Hulu Live or Youtube TV. A friend recommended it so went ahead and got a 4K version to test out. Interface is great, was easy to setup and Alexa! Having various Echo devices already, it's nice to say find Saturday Night Live and boom its there. While these were still on sale, got 1 more 4k and 1 regular for the Tv's in the home.

The remote is small but comfortable. All the apps you can add to the screen - fantastic. If I stream something on my phone, it doesn't see the fire stick - chromecast somehow seems the better option for that. BUT if you add the apps into the fire stick you can select with the remote. I just prefer youtube and Netflix off my s10 and stream through chromecast. For Prime the fire stick is just a must, but, I do still stream it at times from phone to chromecast. I recommend it.

It’s everything I wanted since I don’t have a smart TV, and love how much free things comes with Amazon fire stick. You really could go cable free nowadays with these fire sticks. What I loved most about it is that it didn’t require me to enter a card payment to use it. I purchased a Roku Stick several years ago and I had to take it back to store because I couldn’t use it without entering a card payment. At the time I didn’t have a credit card so that was a bummer.
