I am not sure if Amazon updated the wireless capability on this version for 4K but no drop out issues with this device vs our original standard Firestick. Love this one!

nice tv viewing choice

We no have hulu, netflicks and amazon prime plus the regularly broadcast channels with a 30 dollar antenna with half the price of cable. we don't even miss cable anymore. Half the price of cable includes internet.

Glitchy OS with a Great Remote

Also, the OS was somewhat "glitchy" at times. The remote would freeze up and it would take it a minute or two to "reconnect" and start working again. This was more of an OS thing and not a remote issue though. Other than that... the remote feels great and I had no issues streaming.

Helpful for traveling to use in hotels. Hulu and Amazon Prime work great with it. Lots of other options. May not be easy for non-techy people, but it's not all that complicated.

Took a trial and error approach to get the set up to work, needed to use the 'game console' app on our smart tv for it to link up properly.

Well as you know cable was getting out of hand. we were paying over $100.00 a month just for cable. Good by cable

The best casting device

But I really liked the way how fire stick works than Chromecast. Of course each got its own speciality. But I liked Amazon's casting device than Google's casting device. Worth to have one in home.

Good alternative for cable

Just have to install the chanel apps of my ixfinity to my fire stick and its just like having cable in my room without paying those extra bucks a months for a box.

The programing with Disney+ and Apple are top notch. I guess my only complaint would be that after buy the media player and subscribing to the providers there are movies you still have to pay for.
