I have a smart TV that's a few years old and the software has started to run slow. The fire stick has been a lifesaver! The software is great, it runs fast and I haven't had any problems with it.

Best For Game Streaming

I use both of those for watching different streamers. Other streaming services that I have used haven’t had as many apps and features.

It's mobile so you can take your streaming anywhere and everywhere! For those of us that don't have cable in every room it helps us stream to those rooms with an easier interface than a bluray player.

Fire stick 4K

If you do not have a smart TV this device added to your TV will be smart. With Alexa voice you can talk to this fire stick. Great job Amazon. Thanks guys

We purchased it so we could get more college sports games. Also there is a amazing number of other things that it will do for us. I had no idea that there was so many and I mean many movies available.

Solid streamer.

Has plenty of menu options to let the user control color space, frame rate, resolution, etc. Does not support Atmos on Netflix. That's too bad since Atmos is supported on the prime video, and Disney+ apps for the fire stick 4k. The option to enable frame rate switching to match the content only works with Amazon content.
