A bonus is that even if your TV isn’t a Smart TV as long as the TV has HDMI ports the Fire Stick will make it act like a Smart TV

We swapped out cable and cut the cord with this device and have since gotten another device and do not miss cable in the slightest. I highly recommend this

The only disadvantage is if you don't have it with your subscriber you have to pay for a yearly/monthly fee. Should be able to have more free options.
