Will not let TV power down

It’s major flaw is that it doesn’t work well with tv’s CEC option. The screen saver works and it’ll go to “black screen” when not in use but, it will refuse to power down causing tv to remain “on” regardless of no streaming content. I have looked into possible causes and solutions but, in the end it is the fire stick itself that first, has no option to power down which in turn, in combination with CEC option, tells the tv to stay on because there will always be a signal input from the fire stick burning out and removing safety options for screen protection

Excellent streaming device!

The only downside is that Amazon eliminate the screen mirroring from this version. The 1080p version has it.

Firestick Good Purchase

The Amazon fire has them. Easy to setup and. a lot more features than my tv. The voice remote is a plus.

Beyond Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and Amazon Prime you can now install Apple TV. You can also Control your TV using Alexa commands. Highly recommend.
