This is great for Netflix and Amazon Video and it’s mostly fine for SlingTV, except that for some reason the NBC Washington stations have a delay that makes the sound out off sync. I don’t see this issue with the iOS app at all, so it seems to be a FireTV issue. I also wish the remote include an input switch button for your TV.

So after my friend recommended this for me it has been great. I have added yet another fire stick to my bedroom and as soon as they go on sale will be getting another for downstairs

Bought this to replace my cable, Ect Great replacement and simple to use. My only issue is it restarts all by itself occasionally. Seems to be a common issue with them according to message boards. Still worth the money. Particularly if you have good “programming skills”.

I have 2 LG OLED tv’s but purchased this two provide access to Apple TV, which isn’t in clues on my TV’s. While ok, I’m not overly impressed and dislike the promos that are part of their programming trying to get me to add channels. If you have a specific need then buy it but I think that Roku is actually a better product.

What can we sty about the Firestick. It does exactly what we need from it. It does need a larger storage capacity. The 5gb is used up very fast when you add apps.

So I got a Firestick to be able to cut the cable cord. You know, too expensive, too much duplication, too expensive and by the way, too expensive. I've got a learning curve to go through (you can't just channel surf like cable), but all the good channels are there, and you're not limited to just the broadcast show, but multiple shows. But the salesman said that local channels would available via app, but they are limited to what they broadcast, such as NBC Nightly News w/Lester Holt. It's delayed by 24 hours. Really? Otherwise, the shows are clear, and while some apps are free, many are not. All that being said, I do believe I will be cutting the cord, but may have to add an external antenna to get my locals as broadcast.

It works really well, hard to get use to after just using TV remotes and now after dumping Direct TV and going to streaming but slowly figuring it out and I like it.
