I do have issues with some of the apps freezing or not responding, Hulu specifically, which causes me to have to restart the unit. I am not sure whether this is an issue with the firestick or app though. I do not have problems with Hulu on my Roku devices, only on the Firestick, which leads me to believe it is an issue with the app developer and not the Firestick

Still the fire stick is great based on your needs and current entertainment setup.
