Defective unit that “works” w/ super weird glitch

Factory resetting this device actually stores and reloads the last email address that was used with it (scary)! Not only that, factory resetting is actually the only way it will make installed applications APPEAR (shouldn’t they disappear?????) and I mean appear ANYWHERE, the app drawer, the installed applications list etc. This is a major security flaw, major major operational and functionality issue. Otherwise, it seems to work. No, I’m not old or tech stupid. I’ve never seen anything like it, it’s a dud for sure. Yes, I am talking total, total factory reset that should wipe all user data and protect your identity and bring it to out of the box, original state. It not only doesn’t work but it saves my data and has to be performed to make applications I download show up. Like, what???

All apps work as advertised, but Amazon could put a little more RAM in this device (hence the 3 star rating). It is a little sluggish, but is fine again after powering down and restarting. Overall, for the price, it's a great addition to a TV.
