We bought it to deal with today’s new technology. It will be needed because we will no longer have satellite internet.

Improved Internet feed

Beats old tech of DVD player, the quality of Netflix improved significantly. My wife was not convinced so I let her run her own tests. She uses the fire stick over the DVD player now.

Money Saver

The cost of Satellite television is raising in cost. We stopped out subscription to DISH and bought the fire stick and only watch HULU and Netflix. Saves so much money.

A Great Streaming Device for a Great Price

Not a fault of Best Buy but very much a fault of Amazon in manufacturing. It took me an hour on the phone with a customer services rep to manually reset the remote to then get it to respond to the HDMI device in the tv. Now it seems to work fine, but a frustrating initial experience.
