We enjoy this little gem and found it reasonably simple to activate. We are definitely not technically capable, but we are able to read and appreciate the set-up directions were easily understood. The Fire Stick makes our old flat screen smarter.

Purchase two of these for each of my kids. They work great and very easy to use. Good price. Very giftable item. I will buy two more one for my room and another for the family room. I love how the piece that connects to the tv is not displayed or taking space on the tv stand.

Easy to use, and easy set-up! Now the tv that we have that was not a "smart tv" can get Netflix, etc,! Very happy, as we also took this on vacation with us to a cabin in KY, and were able to watch movies, etc., instead of just having to watch local cable.

Although Amazon has sort of a spotty track history with their products (ie the amazon smart plug), they never fail with the fire stick. I love the quality and now I can control the volume from the remote. I love the fact that it’s simplistic and intuitive to use. I highly recommend

installed this and it's very simple to use. Have a tv that isn't hooked up to my direct tv. The remote is nice cause I no longer had the remote for the tv. It controls volume and power. Couldn't figure out how to download the direct tv app to watch tv off that.

Love it! Easy to use, better remote than Apple TV, and better "reception"..... I put it in a closet with the door closed, and it still works. Also, the remote controls my TV and my sound system's receiver, so I don't have to deal with so many remotes!

Best device I own. easy to set up and navigate I found once you logged in to your amazon account it unlocked so much more. Many apps to download most are free for me I use Netflix and Hulu and prime videos. I’m a music love so love the fact I can listen to Spotify, pandora, iheart radio

We want to get rid of the cable bill and the fire stick was recommended to us. Best Buy had a great deal and we are so happy we Purchased them. It's very easy to set up. We downloaded the apps we wanted and it's been great. The voice option makes it even easier.

If you have a regular tv, you can turn it into a smart tv by purchasing a Firestick. I can watch all my favorite movies and shows via Hulu, Netflix, prime video and specified apps like starz and mtv. I wish I would have brought earlier. The Alexa activated remote is useful too.

I was in awe how good it really works. I get more channels than I thought I would!! If you can work a smart tv then it's really easy. I had no problem working it. i'm disabled and watch alot of television. I'll recommend it to my friends and family.

I recently cut the cord and went exclusively with Amazon Fire TV Stick and Amazon Fire Recast. For my needs, this is a perfect setup that slashed my cable bill from $150 a month to $50. With this combo I get close to 70 OTA channels, plus my Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube and a lot more, all conveniently in one place. I've had Apple TV, Chromecast, Chromebit, Computers hooked up to the TV, but the Amazon Fire TV is the most comprehensive solution I've found. The UX is slick with all of the media across all my platforms right up on the home page. The addition of the volume button and integration with all my devices means that this is the only remote I need. I can change volume, change inputs and then power everything up or down with a single button. If you're looking to cut the cord or find a simple solution for all your streaming needs, get the Fire TV and make sure you get the new remote with the volume control.

I was considering buying the Amazon Cube but decided to go with this because it was on sale and I just couldn’t say no to the price. I ended up hooking it up and everything I needed it to do was available. I saved over $100 and that made me happy. The setup was easy. It hooked up to my favorite apps and it linked right up to my ring and other Alexa apps. My only suggestion is to work on the lag time when you use the Alexa button but otherwise it’s amazing.

Bought this for my daughters tv to play her shows on Netflix, YouTube, etc. and it is extremely easy to use and set up. The newest model has (limited) universal remote feature so you can turn on the tv and control the volume from the fire remote. Would definitely recommend.

It's pretty cool item especially the voice command on it . Has interesting apps in it, I like to explore that area finding new apps for it. The best part was the price at time of purchase great deal. Something new to me I just got it so I've yet to find all it's features.

I honestly didn’t think this little thing could be so useful until I got it. It really does turn any tv into a smart one. There’s honestly almost no need to go out and buy an expensive smart tv when you can save some money, buy like a $200 tv and then buy the fire stick

Great for accessing any and all premium channels all in one place including Netflix. Keeps everything in one place when ready to watch your favorite movies and TV shows. You also can get previews of everything before watching as well. Works great!

This is the second fire stick I have purchased. The first was the original version. I really love the upgrades that have been added on the model, very convenient that is controls the volume on my sound so I don’t have to have both controllers. Great product works awesome

We own a Google Chromecast (doesn't work great - would not buy another) and a Roku device. Roku has been fine so far, but this Fire TV stick is so much better...and cheaper, too. Bought three - one for us and one for each of our teens. Easy to setup and easy to use.

I've owned multiple fires sticks and boxes and they have improved greatly. Previous versions were slow and the remote didn't react with the television, so you needed multiple. Speed is reasonable, remote also manages television (sound and power).
