The new remote is a worthy upgrade from the previous version.

They are very happy with these it allows the to stream everything they wanted.

I do run in to issues with my Alexa Echo Dot starting up when I talk to the remote but I think it’s just to close. Overall it’s a great product and I was able to get it at an outstanding price. Still working out the kinks but getting the hang of it.

Supplants streaming apps in older Samsung Smart TV

Turns out the D+ app was not available for the Samsung TV. Found the FireTV stick on sale, purchased and connected to the TV, now I have D+ ! Also works with the updated HULU and Netflix apps. Much cheaper than getting a new TV. Fire TV stick works OK. But a week installing, the TV started switching on and off repeatedly. Tracked it down to the FireTV Stick. Once I disconnected the FireTV stick's power supply, the TV started working OK. Not sure if something was sitting on the FireTV stick's remote or something in the module got stuck. Have not had a problem since.
