I purchased this item because I own a non-smart tv in my bedroom. I have had a Sony BluRay player hooked up to it to watch Netflix and Hulu, but unfortunately Sony has decided that they are no longer going to support those apps on my ten year old device that still works without a problem. Shame on them. Fortunately for me I came across this Amazon/Fire TV stick with voice remote on your Deal of The Day and found it super simple to hook up and use.

I have a great TV but it's not the smart kind so with this device I can access much more that I want and found what I needed. It's perfect with the update of the Alexa Voice option. I also use it with my phone to mirror my workouts and videos from my Google account. It's super easy to install too. I added parental control so my kids don't open /purchases apps that they shouldn't. And I also bought a gel skin case for the remote to protect it and it makes it easier to find (kids again.)

Voice activation makes this stick stand out. Easy to use. Set up is simple. Purchase 4 more after first purchase.

Great little streaming device. Easy to set up, easy to use. I don't use the voice. But everything else response pretty fast.

I got this for my mom to use with new new budget tv as she is currently trying to "cut the cord". She is not a techy person and even she was able to get it up and running on her own without help which is a big compliment to the clean easy setup of the device. if you dont have a console or a smart tv or the like and want your apps like Netflix, HBO, etc all in one easy place this is gets the job done.

I bought this for my parents so they could cut the cord (cable) and save them some money. It was very easy to setup and use, they particularly enjoy being able to control the tv with the one remote! They also enjoy changing the channel or service by voice command. Now they have Fire TV Sticks on all of their tv's. Recommend high-speed internet service and a good wifi router.

A lot of apps we've run across on the fire stick, end up costing money, so we are mainly using it right now for streaming Hulu and Netflix and an occasional YouTube. It is nice having everything working off one remote. I like that you can put it to sleep so it's not doing stuff in background when you aren't using it also. We like Alexa but it uses up Internet Data so we try not to use it. We've only owned it a little over a month, and I've only had one major glitch. It froze up on me yesterday. I was able to turn the TV off and on and use volume but nothing else. I even unplugged/replugged from wall and still nothing else would work. I took batteries out and put back in. This worked,but still found it odd that On/Off and Volume worked before adjusting batteries. Other then this we are enjoying the FireStick.

We love our Fire stick!!! We had issues with our smart TV’s sound going in and out while streaming. My husband, who is NOT tech savvy, installed the Fire stick easily and quickly. The sound issue is resolved and we do not need to replace our TV!!!! The Alexa remote is a great feature and makes choosing streaming apps very easy. Overall, I would definitely purchase this again and highly recommend to anyone thinking about making this purchase.

I am glad I purchase my firestick it has really helped me watch a lot of movies and kill time when bad lockdown am I home. Quarantine and a home is not good but chilling at home watching movies but my family it is good. The firestick has really helped me to watch a lot of movies on Amazon Prime and catch up on a lot of different shows that I have not seen or waiting to see and I can download planning apps from my Amazon account. It is a must have item

This works great. Easy to set up and navigate. Provides clear pictures and many aps. I recommend this.

I love my Fire Stick. Alexa sends me to where I want to go. It's easy to set up. I can stream everything from it.
