As the roku sticks quit we have replaced with the firestick. Really like using one remote as they are what breaks on the other brand. I plan on at least 2 more Easy to use. Recommended to family members and neighbors.

This fire stick is much faster than my old one. I'm glad I upgraded and the volume and TV controls really enhance the fire stick experience. Plus, they were on sale for $14.99 so you really can beat that. No complaints here!

These are great on a budget, but the 4k is waaay faster. About time they added volume controls to the remote control

five year old LED t.V. for the kids room, after it had been in our bedroom. After hooking up I was amazed and somewhat jealous that the picture never looked that good in my bedroom. Only caveat I might have with this is that the BEst Buy associate told me I could plug it into the USB port of the TV, but both times I received an error message that the USB didnt have enough power to operate the device. So, I had to use the adapter, but still the Fire Stick is great !

Works well with the mobile hot spot on my phone! I don't have WiFi... It's expensive, only one service provider serves my neighborhood, AND I get awful speed rates regardless because of where I'm at (think multiple large apartment communities). Having a mobile hotspot was cheeper and easier than paying for wifi, so when I was looking at similar devices, this looked like the most compatible unit for my needs... AND I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! It's perfect!

This is a great item to have if you are thinking about cutting the cord with you cable company. I have 2 TV's hooked up and I'm waiting for my contract to end in july. I Just hooked up an hd multidirectional antenna to get all my local channels. I had Netflix already and I will subscribe to a livestream for all the channels I normally watch. Savings will be more than hundred dollars a month no more being taken by Cable companies.

It runs very fast and the new remote look is a plus. I hope the price goes down a little more on the 4k unit.

I definitely recommend this device, it's super easy to set up and pair with existing televisions. We are using this on a TV that lost its remote many years ago. I believe you just have to pick the manufacturer of the television and it does the rest of the pairing automatically. Now we are able to control volume, power, and inputs from our fire stick. Additionally, the menus and UI are snappier over past generation fire sticks.
