One tip Is to study your TV remote. Look for the HDMI and TV button so that you can switch from using firestick to regular tv watching. The cable of firestick is way too short. Before I forget its best to use the sharp edge of a nail pusher- its used to push your cuticles- to help you open the back of Firestick to load the batteries. Its a pain to open it.

Some shows and movies have commercials but no big deal. I have prime videos so able to steam easily. I have amazon music so easy to stream.

We bought the first one about a year ago to use on an older TV and were very happy with it. The 2nd one was a great idea for the older TV in my kids room since now we have several streaming services. We get shows from Amazon, Netflix, Disney Plus etc. and I can control how and when they use it. Best of all, it was cheaper than adding a cable box or satellite receiver in that room.

Improved over the first Fire Stick we owned

One for each of our homes. It’s an improvement over the original in that we can run all of our functions through the fire stick that matter to us. Those functions specifically were on and off and volume, in addition to the channel selection features that were always there. No problems thus far with needing to reset, like was common with our first Fire Stick.
