Works great for streaming and has ability to search the internet. Has Alexa to talk to. Has ability to connect to tv to control on off and volume. I used rewards to cut cost. The greatest came along with 30 days of Amazon free and did a lot of Amazon based streaming. I also got free one day shipping of items bought from amazon. This is my second unit which has the volume control and on off my first unit does not.

I first got a Amazon firestick last year as a Xmas gift from my Active duty military daughter. Since then I have bought several for my and my daughter’s home. We love them. And can’t live without them. My grand kids love the various shows and channels we now have access to. It’s an easy install and easy to use. We choose the channels we want instead of a bundled cable subscription. It’s great!

I don't have a smart TV and needed a something so that I could connect play Netflix, Amazon Prime movies, etc. I read the reviews and decided on the fire TV stick as it was compact and did I wanted it to do. It was simple to setup and I was on my way after a little hiccup when Amazon didn't send the authentication code to my phone and I had to call support. Overall, A good investment if you decide to cut the cord.

I love how fast this device is compare to my old method of streaming through my Blue-ray player. It wakes almost instantly, and using voice commands through the remote shortcuts through the menus - i.e. saying "Resume (whatever show title) on (whichever service)," will start the show directly. No more flipping through menus to find the streaming service, then flipping through title cards on that service's menu. Fast forwarding and rewinding in precise increments via voice command works beautifully as well. Only downside is that the HDMI signal does not shut down when the device goes to sleep, so it leaves my TV fully powered on, just with a blank screen instead of letting it go to sleep as well.

Glad I purchased 2 for my TV’s it’s a great streaming device and has apps my game systems don’t.

I like the speed on the device truly love the power button and the volume control on the device really don't see any problem with it at the moment maybe down the line just don't see anything at the moment.
