I like the Roku a little bit better

The Roku's menus are laid out a little better in my opinion and are more customizable. The Fire stick has the advantage that it can be used as a remote to turn on and off your tv and adjust the volume. The Roku has the advantage that you can operate it from a phone app so you can type in your searches a lot easier ad you can use your phone as a remote listening device, so you can plug your headphones in and walk around as far as blutooth will take you while listening to your show without disturbing your sleeping loved ones. Don't get me wrong, though, either one is a good deal. It's just a matter of taste.

Apps that you cannot get from searching on the device can be "side loaded" which there are thousands of apps available to unlock the potential of this device. If you have Amazon Prime you get extra unlimited content to watch and music. Bad: Amazon Limits Apps that you can get (but apps can be side loaded)

We have only basic tv so it's been great through the past 9 months of this pandemic to access Prime videos and a lot of channel options. I especially love the option of asking Alexa to find something in particular that I'm looking for.

Firesticks have everything that you could ever imagining watching. I bought these two one for my daughter and the other to put in my She Shed in my backyard. I have brrn wanting to get one for the longest and after Belks sold out for the same price I saw the Best Buy app on Facebook the same night advertising them for $14.99 also I jumped on the deal.
