    I opted for and paid for the $49 voice activated Fire Stick. It didn't work. Only paused the feed to the T.V. won't buy it again.

    I love the fire stick! But when too many people in the house are on wifi it doesn't work as well. Must have faster than 24mbps.

    ...the remote tends to be sluggish and slow, and I don't find it intuitive to use. The lag time between pressing and reaction is frustrating, and it doesn't matter if I'm across the room or right next to the TV. Still it seemed the best option, and I'll live with it. Oh...and instructions are non-exisitant. You get to figure it out as you go--including how to remove the battery cover, which is really a pain.
