A: Yes, the stick will work on a smart TV.
A: You really only need one device. I have a Firestick in my bedroom and roku in living room. Like the Firestick better. It's faster and I've not had any issues loading movies like I do with Roku.

A: If you're TV has HDMI which is a requirement, it will work and No, you do not need to sign up for Amazon prime. You can download Hulu, Crackle and Pluto (think that is the correct name) just to name a few of the free apps available.
A: If you load Kodi onto it you can watch t.v. and you can also watch free movies. Youtube search for "Kodi on firestick without computer" to learn how to add it to the firestick - then also search youtube for "add fusion to Kodi". You'll be amazed

A: yes. if you have 2 HDMI, you can use 1 for your cable, 1 for your fire stick. all you have to do it change the input with your remote. voice is good to have a function, you won't find it that much useful but why not!
