• If you're TV has HDMI which is a requirement, it will work and No, you do not need to sign up for Amazon prime. You can download Hulu, Crackle and Pluto (think that is the correct name) just to name a few of the free apps available.

• Yes just plug it into the hdmi input. Enter in your e-mail and credit card info( no purchase necessary) and finally your wifi password and your good to go!

• You would need an Amazon account. You can subscribe for a 30 day free trial for prime, but you don't have to. Just sign in to your Amazon account, and you'll be on the home screen where you could then download Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, and many streaming services.

• You need an HDMI input on your tv to plug the stick into. You need a membership to Amazon Prime or Hulu Plus, Netflix. There are no free programs.
