It's not like everyone said it was going to be it keeps freezing so you have to unplug it to restart it

The fire stick is great for the spare rooms, but it has some freezing issues. I would recommend spending the extra money on the tv box.

We were so excited about purchasing the fire-stick however it was not compatible to any of our televisions so now we have to buy a new TV

Remote doesn't work well at all. I have to stand in front of the tv and point it to the rear for it to work. Voice activation is null.

Opt for the formatted version of the Amazon Fire Stick if you are not tech savvy. Very time consuming to load all of the programs.

I got this stick and wondering it's good... Everything was smooth and perfect just doesn't play 4K :( I changed with 4k

I tried the firestick and found it had to much pressure to become a prime member. I was looking for something to replace cable TV and not keep paying extra for things except netflix. I ended up with roku3. I liked the lay out but with roku you can skip the payment process the firestick you have to enter charge info.

Purchased stick based upon friends recommendation. When attempted to use on my Samsung Smart Tv there were issues. Spent 2 days with Samsung and Amazon phone technicians, did not get it to work. Best Buy refunded my purchase price, no questions asked, thank you Best Buy. Have had a couple others tell me they had same issue. Used my DVD player to get Amazon prime access, works great!

OK for the price, would only use on a secondary TV. Much slower than the fire tv box to respond and boot up.

A little slow in the beginning, but this continued to get worse and worse. Sooooo sloooooow. Device had to be rebooted at least once every time it was used, which was usually less than 3 hours in a given day. Neither of these issues are acceptable. I cannot recommend this item. We have since purchased its big brother and are much happier with its performance.

It's fine for the beginner. It moves kind of slow. But it does have all of the apps that one needs.

Looked online on how to do.. a little difficult. Too many steps. Would research before purchasing

Had some problems getting into Nexflix. I'm guessing it just a user problem not a product problem.

Started off great but now keeps on freezing and restarting itself on a daily basis.

I have a PS3, PS4, Chromcast, and just bought a Roku. This works so good that I am not even opening up the Roku and I am returning it to the store. Nothing works as easily as this. PS4 appears to have slightly better picture quality on a Samsung 65" 1080P 240hz LED backlit. on a scale of 1080p to 4k, 1 being 1080p and 4 k being ten, then noticeable difference between a PS4 and the Amazon Fire is about a 1. Not much difference, but I am extremely picky. Negative: Picture quality not as good as the PS4. Needs the stock USB. Cannot be powered by TV USB because it will not complete the setup process. Positive: Picture quality is almost as good as a PS4 for a sixth the price. Voice search makes this easier to use than any device. Does not freeze like Chromcast. You CAN load YouTube regardless of what it advertises. Worth the full price.

Remote does not work so well with device. Remote actually stopped working and Best Buy refused to exchange it because it was a few days beyond the exchange by, date. Dealt with amazon for about what seemed to be a couple of hours trying to get remote to work with device. They ended up sending me a new one but I have yet to use device since.

It might be just be a learning curve because I am used to the interface on the apple TV. I don't find it to be a user friendly as the apple. Streaming is not the best. I can try to access the same show or provide such as Netflix on my computer or apple tv and it works fine. When I try using the fire stick it is slow and often stops.
