I cannot get my stick to work. It may very well be my lack of understanding, but even so I have not been able to use it. I need help.

Was good at 1st after awhile it started overheating and one day it never came back on

This stick was easy to configure and get started. The voice remote works great. Most of the time, there were no problem to get it working. I also downloaded the Fire TV Remote app on my phone. That's when the bundled remote stopped working. I had to uninstall the phone app, reinsert the batteries on the bundled remote to get it working again. Also sometimes the bundled remote just loses the pairing with the stick and the fix is to reinsert the batteries. Very few times, the stick hanged and I had to reboot it. But overall, it's a great TV stick!

This device stopped working after one month. I purchased it to replace another Amazon Fire device that stopped after one year. Both had the same problem, the remote control failed. Best Buy has a policy of not replacing such defective devices 15 days after purchase and sent me to Amazon for the warranty. Lesson learned, next time I purchase at Walmart who doesn't question defective product returns.

Not what i thought it would be. These items could have been better explained to me. Did not get the correct information.

This product gets hot to the touch and slow OS. I really don't like it.

Without a cable provider or very good antenna it spends so much time buffering that I give up trying.

I bought this as a gift. When my kids birthday came we opened it and tried to activate it. It got stuck at "Scanning for networks". Tried to return it. Best Buy said it was out of the return window contact Amazon. Amazon did troubleshooting, but said we couldn't do the warranty exchange, I'd have to go through Best Buy. I'm not amused!

It sometimes has problems recognizing voice commands,

I purchased this at Best Buy. Remote stopped working within 3 weeks. I've tried getting in touch with Best Buy but customer services has not responded to my complaint. 14 day return policy is complete bs. Target would give me 60 days if I bought it there. All I want is to exchange it for a new remote.

We had nothing but issues from day one with this product. Freezing up, remote not working correctly, buffering, etc. We ended up getting a replacement from Amazon, but that one was a tad better, but was almost just as bad. I'd suggest any of the other devices, like Roku, before this one!

Voice control is horrible and does not work within apps good

Even with great Wifi this TV Stick didn't do justice.

There is too much buffering with selected programs.

I purchased it specifically to watch PS VUE and Plex on it, and both apps had tremendous lag on the Fire Stick. The interface was slow and non-responsive. Don't waste your money on the Stick and get the Box instead. Night and Day difference in performance.

Stopped working after a few days, but not long enough to get a return from Best Buy. The only reason I got it is because I couldn't get Amazon Prime on my Chromecast device, which worked fine.

This is my first time purchasing a streaming media player. Overall I like it. Here are some things you should know: 1. You need to power the stick with a power cord. The power cord is not very long. Would be nice if it didn't need a cord. Defeats the purpose of having a stick. 2. Difficult to tell difference between a pay show and a free show. From the menu, you need to click on the show's icon which gives you information about the show including if it is free or not. Size of the text is very small and I find myself having to get close to the TV just to see if the show I want to watch is free or not. 3. Voice search is good but you cannot tell if the show is free or not until you make a selection. 4. Parental control is not robust. It prevents anyone from watching shows without entering an access code. Would be nice if the stick could restrict access based on rating. 5. Can watch a lot of my favorite CBS shows via their CBS app including some live shows. However, I'm still limited with NBC and ABC. I hope they get with the program. Overall it is not bad and I find myself enjoying the experience. I like the fact that I do not have to watch my favorite TV shows on the network's schedule. I now want to try the Roku to see how it compares.
