This has not worked reliably since I got it. Wifi reception is terrible. It will work a little with excessive buffering then will freeze up. Very disappointing.

We have extremely fast internet so that's not the issue. The problem was with the guide. It was a good 6-8 seconds behind when I actually clicked on something.

All the shows you want to watch you have to buy individually, only advantage is you don't have to go to video store to rent, but you pay for all the rentals.

Had the new Kindle Fire Tv stick with voice control for a couple of days now. Everything works great! Voice control is an excellent feature and has worked every time i've used it. Much quicker than manually searching. Quality is great, setup was fairly quick. No issues so far.

Has very good content there but it's not worth it if you plan on using it to cut cable since you need cable access for almost anything on it

I did not see all the movies they have talked about. Most I have seen already. Once I have seen a movie I normally don't watch it again

IT IS NOT BLUETOOTH COMPATIBLE, FIRST STICK IS BUT ONLY THING U GET IS THE VOICE SEARCH WHICH SAVES TIME BUT OTHER THEN THAT U CANT CONNECT ANYTHING TO IT LIKE THE LAST GENERATIONS WAS ABLE TOO..

As an owner of he 3rd Gen Apple TV, I was ready for an upgrade, but wasn't sold on the higher priced 4th Gen Apple TV. I miss having Amazon Instant Video content on the device, short of AirPlaying from an iOS device. Here is my experience: The FireTV Stick w/Voice Remote worked well for Amazon content. After an initial boot of a few minutes, it streamed two movies without a hitch. The interface itself was a bit frustrating to use - Amazon content is front and center. Voice search is awesome and pulled up the correct Amazon content quickly. Apps are crowded into one area. I downloaded several apps to get content from ESPN, Food Network, and HGTV to name a few. ESPN worked well. Food Network & HGTV both had a noticeable and annoying disconnect between audio and video. You could see the video was a solid half second ahead of he audio. It doesn't sound like much, but when watching the mouths of people talk in scenes, it became really irratating. I used the Amazon help and was immediately called by their support. They were not able to resolve the problem and put a ticket in for me. I'm expecting a call back within 48 hours. After that call, the stick crashed 4 times within 4 hours trying to watch HGTV. Since I had a ticket in already, I felt that would be enough. I went back to my AppleTV while waiting for this to be fixed - and was struck by how much easier to see the on screen menus and use the admittedly familiar Apple interface was. I decided to return this device and go with the AppleTV 32GB. Overall, this device more closely matched my expectations - so far I haven't experienced the issues above, and I continue to use AirPlay to watch Amazon content.

Cuts out, always stops in middle of show. Says its runing oit of time and have to delete apps

this item is for advance users. not for basic users starting to cut the cable.

Couldn't decide between mic and no mic and being a noob to the Fire Stick and having a reward coupon went with the more expensive one. While the mic is nice, the free Amazon Fire phone app works the same and if your thinking of hacking stick to run Kodi....The mic doesnt work for that anyways. Still love the product

The fire tv stick is the perfect solution to be able to get rid of your cable bill. With a bit of tweaking, you can get this stick to become a complete media center solution!

Initially purchased so toddler didn't have to watch favorite prime shows on iPhone all the time. But now everyone is using the stick to watch shows and movies. Was even able to watch all ultraviolet movies we have simply by downloading flixster app on stick. Very easy to use. No issues so far. The adapter came in handy for one tv that had hard to reach HDMI ports.

I bought 2 of these, then I loaded Kodi on both of them, so I can use my Amazon account to watch whatever I want and use Kodi also. These fire sticks work like a charm and my main reason for buying the fire stick is because you can load Kodi on it when you get it. If it weren't for that, I'd would have just stayed with my Roku box (which doesn't even compare to this fire stick because you can add Kodi). As for my purchasing it from Best Buy online and picking it up at the store, be very careful. I paid for it online and shortly thereafter they told me it was ready for pickup. I went down, showed them the receipt, they came and handed me the bag. When I got home, they had put only one of what I paid for in the bag and then they put the cheaper/non-voice model in as the second one. I had to go all the way back to store to make it right, and when I did, the girl gave me a hard time. I will always inspect anything and everything from this point forward. I was so mad!

This is my second amazon fire stick. They work great and now with Alexa Voice command it's a must have for any amazon prime members! The Alexa voice command really is worth the 10 extra bucks compared to the Amazon fire without voice remote. Buy it and you won't be disappointed!

Love my new fire stick! It's going to save me a lot of money!!!
