Just received my fire stick and I love it...I have all the Roku and this stick is way better in my opinion...I downloaded kodi and Jarvis and everything runs flawless, now time to unsubscribe my Netflix and Hulu.

last week i bought the amazon firetv box. i was so impressed i bought this stick to use on my kitchen tv which has always been hooked up to an antenna. playstation vue works great although not quite as fast in switching channels as the box, i would still very highly recommend this product. so easy to install and get going and comes with a nice intro video. the voice search is very handy also.

The firestick is GREAT, makes up for slow "smart" tv wifi speeds. The unit is responsive and intuitive, quickly set up and running within 10 minutes of opening. The Alexa remote is easy to use and the voice recognition is stellar. I will say that it does seem to drain the battery on the remote a little to fast for my liking. But overall I would (and have) recommended it to friends and family.

The Amazon Fire Stick works really well. I like it better than the app included with most Smart TVs and DVDs. The voice feature works well. I use it all the time to search for content. One thing to be aware of, the Fire Stick requires power so you'll need an extra outlet open near the TV. It's very easy to set up, takes about 5 minutes.

The amazon fire software is very good...I have no problems with that at all. In fact, I currently use a Fire TV box on my TV. The main problem I had with the firse stick was that is was very slow and sluggish. You'd press a button and sometimes it would be 3-4 seconds before anything would happen. Sometimes it would just freeze altogether. I know its not the software...cause it works perfectly on my Fire TV. This little stick just doesnt seem to have enough power to run the software that it has on it. IF you really need something cheap...this will work...but be ready for some frustrations.

It was a little slow to set up at first. The voice commands weren't working correctly but I think over time it became smoother. I like this because I can watch Amazon Prime videos. That's the only reason I got it for. The remote it comes with is very small and useful.

The kids love anime and old school Pink Panther. I'm a Trekkie, and go for the movies too. Man in the High Castle is also good TV. Looking forward to season two. The wife and I burned thru all of the episodes rather quickly; too quickly, as a matter if fact. I also like to set up for guests in the event they're in guest rooms with older flat panels. All in all, worth the $ to us. Voice remote was a must after my first fire stick purchase. Don't be a cheapo like me, buy the voice remote from the get go. By the way, 5Ghz WiFi is the beesknees, and this product stays connected without issue.

I was looking for an affordable, easy to use streaming device to hit all of my streaming subscriptions. this is perfect, fast, and reliable

I purchased a fire stick and decided to return it 2 days later to "upgrade" to the one with voice command since I recently purchased an Echo. My only complaint is this: the one without voice control had a useful 3 inch HDMI cable that allowed the fire stick to be plugged in the tv easier. I actually used this cable on one tv, even though I didn't need it. I bought the voice controlled version and decided to hook it up to the tv in the family room. This tv is mounted on a fireplace mantle and the HDMI plugs are not easy to access. Also, the stick is almost too big to fit between the HDMI port and the frame of the tv. It was a pain to push it into the HDMI port and luckily I didn't break anything and it's in just enough to make the connection. This is more of a design flaw on the tv than the fire stick, but be aware that this could be an issue for you as well.The fire stick with voice control did not include this cable, which would have been very useful in my setup. Furthermore, it came with an "HDMI adapter" which I cannot figure out the use of. It's a little block that has a female HDMI port on both ends. If you plug the fire stick into one end you'd still need a cable to go between the adapter and the tv. It's easier to fight with the tv and get the stick to mount into the HDMI port than to have to come up with another HDMI cable. Other than that, I'm enjoying the ease of setup and the variety of programming. I have an older model Samsung Smart tv and it's ok, but I was amazed at how much more I can get with the fire stick. I just really wish I had that 3 inch HDMI cable that came with the original fire stick I bought. See my review of the mission USB cable to power my fire stick...

This is one of my best purchases. I love it! It is easy to set up and there are so many things you can do with it. I am an Amazon Prime member, and I really can't believe how much you get with this simple device. Music, TV shows, Netflix, Movies, and you don't have to buy Alexa, because it's built in on this device. Great way to save your money! I could go forever about how awesome this device is.

This is a good product for streaming tv and apps the stick is a little slower than the boxes

I purchased this stick to basically turn my lame TV into one with a "smart" feel. It's nice and small and hides behind my bedroom wall-mounted TV just fine. The voice remote feature is easily worth the extra $10, we use it all the time.

My mom loves her new gift. Downloaded a foreign app and she gets to watch so many free Arabic channels. She also uses it to play educational games with my nephew. It does so much for a low price, definitely a great purchase.

I love this fire stick. You can take any TV or computer and transform it into a smart TV. The streaming works great and I cannot tell the difference between the fire stick or my smart TV. I would recommend this to anyone.

If you're buying this thing to run Kodi, like many of you are, then this works just fine. Just a slight lag, but that's expected because there's not much memory on the stick. Overall the step runs pretty smooth and all the movies play fine.

I love the Amazon Fire stick because it is so easy to use and fast with easy set up. After having mine 6 months I bought a second one to give to someone who also loves it as much as me and I recommend it to everyone!
