It's good, I haven't dropped it yet, I guess that would be the true test for it. But it looks great, fits in one hand just fine. Get your READ ON and buy it!

Love my kindle. This is my 4th e reader- always had Nooks. The only disappointing thing is not being able to browse online with it. But the daytime pages are fantastic and I love that it is waterproof!

I may never read a hard or soft covered book again. Easy to adjust in terms of print size, boldness and brightness of background. I've already downloaded 3 books in my first week of operation.

Beautiful well made device but happens to be uncomfortable for my hand. I prefer the symmetrical shape of the regular kindles. The warm light is really nice as well as slightly larger screen. But the extra weight adds to the discomfort for me.

I replaced my ten year old kindle with this one and I am so happy with it. The size is great and I love the button on the side for changing pages. It also allows you to hold in either hand and flips accordingly.

I love this! I got this with the goal of reading more books, it makes it so much more convenient.

The battery life is great. I read a lot of pdf files for work and school, and it is nice to be able to add these files to my Kindle for easier reading then a phone or computer screen. The reasons for the 4 star is the slightly confusing menu navigation and the ghosting from the previous screen that can distract you while reading.

Best reader I have bought, screen is clear and the adjustable back light is great. My wife and I have one and with them have renewed our love for reading.

I love Kindles and I loved my Voyager. I have owned Kindles since the first one came out and loved them. The Oasis- not so much - buy the Paperwhite or bring back the Voyager. This is an awkward size, doesn’t fit in your pocket, inconsistent performance for an outrageous price compared to the lessor product. I bought because I wanted more light I have trouble with my eyes. That is about the only advantage of this product. The origami covers really don’t work well because of the oddball size. Frequently the page changing does not operate consistently. Don’t buy the Oasis.

I’ve had my Kindle v3 for decades and loved it! However, this little guy is a game changer for me! Best purchase I’ve made for myself in years! A must have for readers!

This is my first Kindle purchase- in the past i obtained ebooks on my ipad, however instead of purchasing another i chose the Kindle, its taking sone adjustment as to date there are no colors to see in th book cover.

Bought this for my wife’s birthday. She is an avid reader and has many books in her library. She really likes this Kindle version better than the previous version. Said is is faster and much better.

I am so very pleased with my purchase. It is so lightweight it makes reading in bed great! This is my first Kindle and I don't know why it took me so long to get one but is a game changer.

With 25 LEDs and a 7" inch screen, this kindle oasis is hard to beat. Though the only drawback is its price, I would eliminate this drawback by buying it during a sale for $200 or less.

This is very good ebook which got me to read 500 pages in a week.

Like the thinner size and the screen is bigger. No downtime for updates like my previous Kindle, must update while it's sleeping. Very happy with the new model
