The paperwhite has the built-in light which makes it extremely convenient to read at night. It is also lighter than the original kindle

I have been using Kindle for several years now but my old one was starting to freeze and had problems connecting to the internet sometimes. This new one is a great replacement. I like that it is backlit and that it syncs to the latest page read with the Kindle app on my iphone. Great purchase.

I like the ease of operation of this Kindle. Easy to read, easy to adjust, easy to obtain books quickly, Good place to store a library that you can take any place.

Wished I had upgraded to the Paperwhite sooner....it's so convenient compared to my older Kindle....love being able to read in any lighting!

I like the size of this Kindle device. The battery lasts a very long time and charges quickly. Haven't found anything not to like about the Kindle Paperwhite.

It's my family's third kindle device. Very convenient for reading although my daughter wants to read paper books after using her own kindle for 2 years.

The closest to reading off real paper books in my opinion. Also the light is easy on the eyes in the dark, so you can read much loger

I have owned several Kindles over the years and love the Paperwhite version the most. I purchased this one as a gift to my best friend. I highly recommend a case so one does not encounter an unfortunate accident as I did when I dropped my Paperwhite 3G off the nightstand. lol. Although mine was older and the warranty had expired, Amazon was amazing in discounting a replacement I bought from them. My only future wish is to have the option to change the display to sepia or even just a version that is only sepia.

Wasn't sure I would like the smaller size but after using it a year I find the compact size is great to carry in my purse. I love it.

This is the perfect option for me. I can have more than one book at my disposal, yet it's lightweight and easy to carry. The print is easy on the eyes, too..

The Kindle Paperwhite is a wonderful option for traveling (no weight, lots of books) and for seniors who read large print books - adjustable font size!

I bought this to use mainly outdoors because my iPad had too much reflection on the screen. The white background works great outdoors. Very easy to read.

Love this kindle. I know it's been out for few years, but still delivers its job - to make me read again -. The battery last long, so I wont have to charge all the time. Rich in features and the screen is high resolution. Adds still included in the base model, but it's OK.

Christmas gift for my wife who has regular Kindle and an Ipad mini. This has become her goto medium for ebooks.

Love that I can read this at night, with the lights off, or have it tucked (snugly) in my jacket pocket on the go. Wonderful device with great battery life.
