Q: Does this version have the special offers?
A: Don't waste your money getting one without special offers. They only show up as a cover page when the Kindle is off and when you first turn it on, but once you go to your book you will never see them again until you turn your Kindle off. Save your $20. I was concerned at first that they would be like those stupid banner ads that you see on web sites, but they're not. Like I said save your money. But if you really want to spend the money, you can pay for the special offers to go away through your Kindle, but I don't think that once you see how they work that you'll want to waste the money.
Q: Is this the new model from June 2015?
A: Yes. The only difference between the 2015 Paperwhite and the previous generation is the pixel density--the new Paperwhite is 300ppi.

Q: can books be shared between kindle e readers
A: Most books can be shared with other Kindle readers. You need to go to your Amazon account, click on the box next to the book, if it is a book that can be loaned, you will see "Loan this Book", click on that, put in the person's email and once they get notification, they can click on the link and download to their Kindle. Keep in mind that if you are loaning a book, it will not be available for you to read while the other person has it.
Q: Can you tell if you have purchased the newest generation by the box?
A: The Kindle Paperwhite 2 has the Kindle logo below the screen in white and the Paperwhite 3 is in piano black. The other way to verify which version you have in look at the fonts available while reading a book. The new Paperwhite 3 has a new font named Bookerly that was specifically designed for the new 300 ppi display. I hope this helps.
