I lost my first Kindle Paperwhite on an airplane and replaced it with the newest version. I transferred my account easily to the new Kindle keeping my entire library. Love it!

Easy to read and download books even while away on vacation. We used to take all these books with us on vacation and now we can carry one device with multiple books.

After having this for a year, it got a bit wet and called Kindle and they said they would fix it or replace it cause it was within the one year warranty. They replaced it for free.

If you want a good e-reader Amazon has a number of options, but some of the newer ones are unexpectedly expensive. This one is great if you want to read any time but not break the bank.

Got this as a gift for my sister. She was running out of book shelf space this was the great idea. She loved this gift and it has a light so you can read this one in the dark.

I have a kindle fire, but I wanted something that was less of a strain on my eyes. I love my Kindle Paperwhite. It is simple and easy and I'm able to use my fire as a tablet!

I've had every Kindle since they came out and have been impressed by the innovation, design, and overall quality. This one is the exception on all counts. Lightning issues on the bottom of the reader are distracting and I don't see a visible difference from the older models. Evidently, production is of higher value than quality.

Paperwhite kindle is great...especially when reading outside in bright light (like at the beach or in the backyard patio)! This is the main reason for getting it. No glare!

I bought this for travel so I can read as much as I can without bartering and carrying books. It's easy to read but the size doesn't work for me. I have to hold it with two hands. I was hoping I could hold it in one. In retrospect I would get the Amazon Fire instead.

I used to read late at night with a bed light that kept my husband awake. After I started using the backlit Kindle Paperwhite my husband exclaimed, "No more white nights!"

I love this thing! Awesome for outdoor reading! iPads can't compare. The biggest plus for me is that I'm not bombarded with messages or call and can stay focused on reading.

got the new e-reader for my wife to replace her orginall 1 from bestbuy they no longer make. she said that she likes it much better it has a light in it. misses the key board

I really enjoy the paperwhite no-glare background of the Kindle Paperwhite ereader. Books are easy to download. No heavy books to take with me when I am on vacation.

It is my first e-reader then I cannot compare it with others. However, in comparison to tablets, the most importance thing is you enjoy reading your book without any eyestrain.

I guess the catch is that if even if you won digital subscriptions to newspapers like the Washington Post of Philadelphia Inquirer, you still need to purchase a subscription to see these newspapers on this device. And the apps for these newspapers don't contain the entire copy of the digital or hard versions.

It's my first time to buy a discount product on web. It's is fantactic. I definitely like the reader. If possible, I want to buy another one for my friend at such low price. :)

the kindle is awesome it holds so many books. I can check out books from the library while sitting on my couch. I take it with me everywhere when ever there is time I read.
