Love my Kindle Paperwhite! I love to read outside so this no-glare screen is absolutely awesome.

There is nothing better than a Paperwhite for reading and the new one is just great - clear, clean and quick.

I had previously owned one of the original Kindles, with paging buttons. It finally gave out, so I replaced it with this model. I like the ability to back-light if you want it, but it still reads beautifully in natural light just as a book. I recommend upgrading and removing ads as quick as you can.

finally I can read on the beach or outside! I can take many books with me when I travel without the weight and bulk of paperbacks I can also enlarge the font size so no readers are required!. Love this device. Wish they would do something like this for cell phones to read in the sunlight!

Perfect size, great in all lighting situations. Easy to hold, handle and transport. Makes reading even better!

If you like to read and like to have more than one option then an e-reader is something to consider. I like the screen when reader as it is not glaring like a tablet or computer screen. The ability to adjust the font size is very beneficial for me. I also like being able to highlight words and get their definition. I am not a fan of all of the controls but once you get use to them the Kindle is very useful. I wish I could convert PDFs to the Kindle format a little better but that is not a fault of the device.

I love my Kindle. The screen looks the same as the Voyager to my eyes. Couldn't imagine traveling without it!

Great gift as it's reasonably priced. Battery life is fantastic. Put it into airplane mode and it lasts even longer. Don't forget this is the one where you have to adjust the backlight. If you want to auto adjust you need to get the Voyager. Both nice and compact. Highly recommended.

Have used every iPad since the beginning including the Pro and never had success reading. Now I can read anywhere under any lighting conditions and the battery lasts forever! great on the road or at home. Test is so crisp and clean! I recommend purchasing with the cover to protect the screen.

I have really enjoyed reading on this kindle. The internal night light is great for reading in bed. I've only had to charge it once so far, and I've been reading on and off for a couple of week. I'm please with the display, battery life, and it's also pretty light to hold.

This is a great e reader. There is no glare it is easy on the eyes.

I like the idea of reading on a portable screen without suffering from glare and bright sunlight. The back-light is soft so that you don't feel dry in your eyes when you read for hours. The battery is great, it can last a month for me (I only read about 8 hours per week). However, something need to be improved on the paperwhite. The lag is terrible, It always has about 1 second lag when I type or switching books. If this can be improved, I would definitely give it a 5 star.

Devise does what it's supposed to do very well. Easy on the eyes and battery life is awesome. Recommended

This is the best and probably only e-reader that you need. Screen is beautiful and perfect with built-in light. However, I would like one with bigger screen size and hope amazon could improve reading performance on Pdf files.

The kindle was easy to use and couple easily receive books transferred from my other devices.

This particular version of kindle is really good for reading ebooks.

This is 3rd Amazon reader I bought, plus several Fire sticks and Fire TV. All those devices are making my life nicer and helping to enjoy it. The reader is just great - a lot of flexible settings, support of many electronic book formats, possibility to read even in dark - what else do you need?
