I love how light and convenient it is to carry around. This is beyond worth it for an avid eBook purchaser. I signed up to Prime for my son and none of the chapter books that he really wanted were ever available - not an issue with the kindle - just content that would be relevant for subscription (ie kid magazines) aren't necessarily available on the Paperwhite. Just remember, it's not a tablet, which is lovely if you only want some good uninterrupted reading.

Bought this a a gift for my wife, who loves to read, but who has absolutely no use for or interest in information technology and the tools of that trade. She can barely tolerate email, and refuses to interact with a smartphone. Once introduced to Kindle, however, she has become hooked. It is light, easy to carry, seldom needs to be charged, turns pages with a touch, and is a veritable portable library. It was an inspired gift - and who knows where it might lead.

Bought this for my boyfriend for our anniversary and he loved it. He uses his Kindle almost everyday. It works great and is very light. He can take it anywhere and enjoy reading. For being his first Kindle it was easy for him to use right out of the box.

Kindle paperwhites are amazing. They are so simple and non distracting. They are very pleasing to the eyes and not having to recharge it every night is great. Can't wait to take it on vacation and read in the sunshine without getting a headache from the reflection of my tablet.

I kept trying to read books on my tablet thinking it was the same as having a Kindle. Wrong! Tablets have other apps that are distracting and keeps me from actually reading. The paperwhite is much better than reading on a tablet and the backlight is perfect.

The kindle paperwhits is great! It hold a charge for two weeks or more which is awesome. It's great to read in the sun and in darker areas or at night because of the backlit screen. Like how small and compact it is. Would def recommends getting one if you enjoy reading.

It was a gift for my 94 year old mother and she was able to learn how to use it fairly quickly.

Always love to buy at Best Buy. My kindle had problems and they replace. I loved this Papper White. I can carry with me all the time, and read when I want. I bought 2 different models but this one is just the bestt I recommend for everyone I know.

I owned the last generation of Kindle and I can say that this is a very nice update. The screen is better, backlighting removes the need for a book light and the reading experience is very delightful! I would recommend this to anyone that wants the best eReader in the Market!

Love being a kindler ... the paper white is a great device ... slips into my purse... and always have it ready to read ... works great in full sun or in the dark .... battery life is long lasting ... Great product ... don't go anywhere with out it ...

If your earlier model isn't up to par, this is a great improvement. Really like the fact that it is back lite so I can read at night and not disturb anyone. I'm very happy with this reader.

The built in backlight is fantastic. Let you get a slimmer case that's easier to carry around

This was a gift for my wife, and she loves it! The battery life is excellent, the resolution is great and it is light weight in her bag for the daily commute. Only knock is that it does not include a wall charger connection, just the USB cord, but that is very minor.

Better that reading for the phone or traditional tablet
