I'm reading more, it is easy to travel with, the battery lasts a long time, it's pretty easy to figure out how to use the features. I also got a nice, sturdy, purple case that makes it easy to hold and slip in a bag.

my new paperwhite kindle is easy to use , super light weight- a real joy. I have been reading on my iPad, but find the lighter weight, smaller size better. Thought the smaller screen might be hard to get used to - but not really a problem.

This is so perfect for reading. If you only want it for reading, then I would most definitely get this. I can read for hours on it, in light and in the dark. It's super easy to buy books and download books. Favorite Christmas purchase!

This was my first kindle purchase and I'm glad I waited. The battery life is awesome rarely do I have to charge it. It's also really easy to purchase more books. Also the white pages are easy on the eyes whether it's night or daytime.

I love my Kindle its the best e-reader available its the only way to read.

I looked around at multiple e-readers and am so glad I chose the kindle paperwhite. It is very easy to read from and the backlighting still let's me read without having to turn on a light. I greatly enjoy it and certainly recommend it!

Perfect for reading books better than iPad because of the front lit screen

I had trouble deciding between the regular kindle and the Paperwhite because I read at night. It was a great decision, because when I turn the light all the way down, I can't read at night. It's lightweight and sturdy. My only complaint is the speed of switching between books and the strange flicker with the page turn. It's not a show stopper, because it is so much better than trying to read on my iPad mini.

You need a paper white version to read at night. My favorite.

I love my kindle paperwhite. I have given to several as a gift. Easy to read outside in bright sun or inside with low light. I enjoy being able to download books any time and not have to run to the bookstore.
