Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she's over the moon about it. She's already purchased dozens of books to read on it and carries it around wherever she goes. I'd say that's the sign of a great product.

I love reading on my Paperwhite! The battery lasts for weeks and it is light enough to carry in my purse when I don't want to carry my other Kindle devices.

It has big discount when I get the coupon! I had one Kindle without background light before, and the price of this paperwhite one is almost the same as my previous one. It is convenient to read even under strong sunlight. It is what I really want!

I've used this for almost a month now. Excellent reading experience. It has adjustable brightness too. Doesn't strain the eyes even when reading in the dark.

This is my fourth Kindle and my second Paper white. Not much to say as it meets my expectations. I can read it in any lighting conditions, sunlight to dim indoor lighting. Battery life is great as in the past. If you had a Kindle in the past or present you know what I am talking about. Those that have not had one and are thinking about buying one just do it, you will not be disappointed. I suggest that you buy the cover for your Kindle. Best thing about the Kindle is that if you fall asleep while reading it you will go back to the last page you read before falling asleep.

I love the lighted screen - can read anywhere, anytime, and it's much easier on my old wrists/hands than trying to hold a book open.

My old one (the original) was a lot older and did not have the back light. Love the smaller, more compact style and the light for late night reading.

This camera is a little thicker than other "pocket" cameras, primarily due to the fold-out LCD screen. The screen is a nice feature as it provides additional stability when in the "out" position. The zoom capability and image stabilization features are also very good.

I only bought this because I wanted to give my friend one and she wasn't getting the new one, lol! I had heard there wasn't much difference between them so didn't plan to buy one before. They were wrong. It is SO much faster. Going into the store, browsing, turning pages and opening books. I used to get aggravated at the lag time and rarely bought books on it, used my phone to buy, because it was so annoyingly slow to respond. Speed was the first thing I noticed, the screen looks a bit clearer though I was happy with the old one's screen too. It's worth the upgrade.

I especially like the variable lighting which allows me to read at night without any external light or in the brightest outdoor light.

I really loved this! It was the perfect size to carry in my bag, and the paper white is awesome. So easy to read. Also very attractive looking. LOVE IT!

This is exactly what my friend an avid book reader wanted for a gift. I was pleased that they offered it at a great price overy black Friday weekend. Best little ereader for those book readers that want to feel like they are reading a book!!!

I like that this is specifically for reading. I also have a fire tablet from Amazon but I feel this one encourages me to read more. I like design and color. I highly recommend it to someone who is looking to get more into reading. Five stars

I had a kindle years ago and decided to try one again. I'm so glad I did!! The lighting seems to make it easier for me to read and see the words without my reading glasses!! I with I could put my own screen saver on it, and wish best buy carried the cases in colors!!

Actually like having a dedicated reader. This is a MUCH better reader than the first kindle. :)

well design and perfect size to carry along. What it does is to give you a quick access to e book and provide a better experience compared to view of phones

A great improvement over the kindle touch. The backlight makes nighttime reading so much easier
