I really enjoy my kindle. the back light makes it very easy to read at night when my husband is sleeping. User frendly.

We got this item for my parents to use - who are not the most tech savvy - and even they love to use it! It took them a few days to catch on and fully understand how it works and why its so great but now they each want one of their own

This refrigerator is absolutely terrific. The Features are very well thought out. It works well for a mom who is into healthy eating with plenty of space and for kids with their own drawer for snacks and beverages. It's attractive, too!

Love that Kindle can be used in sunlight as well as inside with no glare. It's a smaller size than my tablet but I adjusted easily and text size can be adjusted. Battery life is long - after 10 days in Peru, the battery is still more than 2/3 full.

Needed something that I could read at night without using a light. The backlight is perfect.

Got this for my fiancé and she loves how easy it is to use, and how light the product is. Would highly recommend to all book readers.

I purchased this for my 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She is over the moon happy with it! She needed no help in setting it up and using it. She used gift cards to load books and has been busy reading over Christmas vacation.

I had a kindle 2 and liked it for years. The paperwhite is much smaller, but with a bigger screen. The backlight feature is fantastic!

The screen is absolutely amazing on the eyes. I can read for long stretches of time without any eye strain and the battery lasts forever.

I had the original Kindle. It lasted a long time. Juts got this paperwhite kindle. It's really 100% better. Strongly recommend it.

great value. it doesn't hurt my eyes. So easy to use and upload books. best of all my kids wont try and use it to surf the web.

Though I was partial to my Nook, I kept getting little broken pixel light spaces on the screen. Switched to Kindle and I was pleasantly surprised at the visibility of the screen and how light it is. I read in bed every night and it is very comfortable to hold.

I purchased this Kindle to replace one that was 10 years old, and was performing inconsistently. My old Kindle had a keyboard and tabs that allowed for easy navigation and downloading. The new one dispensed with all this in favor of on-screen menus that I found much less user-friendly. Further, there seems to be a lot of unwanted advertising that did not accompany my older model. The user guide did not include instructions for a specific operation I needed to do - deleting some preloaded "clippings" - necessitating a chat with user support. While that was very helpful, it would have been nice to have the appropriate instructions as part of the user manual, or better yet, no preloaded "clippings" such as bookmarks and highlights. I wish they had an updated version of my old Kindle that maintained the useful and simple features.

I was happy with my Kindle Touch, but then started to envy people with Paperwhite who read in dark. I love my new Kindle, take it everywhere and can read books with any light.

This kindle is perfect for using on my commute. It is extremely lightweight and easy to use and it fits just about in any of my bags.

This is my first E-Reader but I have numerous mobile devices and I can say without hesitation that this reader is awesome. It's just like reading a book. I have no complaints, fits my needs perfectly. Very pleased with my purchase.

The Paperwhite is still the best overall eReader. There is the Oasis and Voyage but they cost a lot more and are only slightly better.
