Just what you need for an ereader. Front lighting is very natural and doesn't give me a headache like trying to read on backlight screen like my iPad.

Easy to read and way easier on the eyes than other devices. Can read at length with no eye strain.

You cant get a better device for reading ebooks than this. The battery lasts weeks and its extremely light

The paperwhite model has a very clear screen and backlight so I can be used in most lighting conditions. The manual is an ebook which not everyone will be fond of. My only complaint is that it includes a USB cable but does not include a charger in the box. Luckily I had a number of appropriate chargers that work well with the reader. Compared to the more expensive models, the Paperwhite had the functionality that I was looking for at a reasonable price.

I had purchased the Kindle and Kindle Fire for my husband and he loves to read outside, so he asked for the Paperwhite. He absolutely LOVES it! Can't get him to come back in! LOL.

I was using my iPad mini to read for a long time, but felt like getting a dedicated device for reading since I am a Prime member. I ended up buying a kindle with no back light... Don't fool yourself, LED lights and book lights do no where near the same job as the Paper white. I can hold the device in one hand for long periods of time and the light doesn't wear my eyes down like my iPad. Really love the Paper white, I'm catching up on a lot more reading.

I love my Kindle and the Paperwhite allows me to read in the dark. I sometimes read on my iPhone but I prefer the Paperwhite because the lighting is much better for reading on it.

We had an earlier version of Kindle that in my opinion was hard to read the print. We purchased the Kindle paperwhite and love the brightness. It's much easier to read and doesn't strain my eyes.

I have a kindle fire, but was looking for something I could use in direct sunlight (at the pool or beach). This is perfect! All of my books synced and the battery life is unbelievable! A great purchase!
