I got this Kindle to replace an old Kindle and a lost Ipad that I was using to read my KIndle books on. T his Kindle with the back lit screen combines the best of both Ipad and kindle..back lit but no glare in the sun

Love that this looks like paper when I read on it. Wouldn't trade it in for anything!

Although I use a tablet for light websufing and gaming I very much prefer a dedicated reader for consuming books. The screen is clear in all lighting conditions. I can get any book I want instantaneously. And the battery lasts for weeks instead of hours.

I wore out my first generation paperwhite......onto the next! Kindle paperwhites are the way to go!

One of my favorite purchases! I just got back into reading and this thing makes it awesome! I thought I would miss the feel of a real book in my hands but I don't. The features and convenience of the paperwhite make this thing a game changer. BUY BUY BUY

Amazon Kindle is a great product - I bought one as a gift for my nephew and he absolutely loves it.

Exactly what I needed, it was a replacement for an older unit that stopped working.

I researched different readers before deciding on the Kindle. I figured I may as well get something that will benefit from my Amazon Prime membership. I am soooo happy I did, I have done more reading since my purchase than I have done in over a year. Highly recommend!!!

Great device to go paperless and no more books. However, hard cover books are still fun to read.

This is such an improvement over the original Kindle. The pages are easier to read in any light.

I held off for quite some time on buying this product being it seemed awful expensive for a tablet with only one purpose. I can now say Im glad I bought it. No more having to worry about reading on a bright sunny day and just in general seems much easier on the eyes.

I had an original Kindle (wifi only) and loved it, however was limited when reading at night (I didn't want to have to attach a light or use a flashlight). The Kindle Paperwhite solves my dilemma! I would specifically recommend it for those who are frequent fliers.

The kindle has one use reading so it is perfect, no internet means no distractions

It’s been a while since I’ve had an E-Reader. I read on a Nook when they first came out and since I can read a book a day it left my eyes seeing grainy when I’d look up. I can read on this Lj file for hours and not have that feeling. Highly Recommend

Great e-reader. Has an awesome battery life, great for traveling or hanging at home. So awesome to have thousands of books available to you. I feel like book prices on ereaders have been rising, and that's unfortunate. I have two at home and I love them though!
