Battery life is amazing I haven’t charged it in two weeks and it still has life. It’s good on the eyes when you adjust it for either when you’re outside or indoors or at night in the dark. Best kindle I’ve ever owned

I love the paper white. The text is very clear and easy to read, even in the sun. If you're wondering if you should get the signature edition, the differences are more storage, no ads, and automatic brightness adjustment. Honestly, I dont think any of those are deal breakers, unless you're listening to a lot of audiobooks (which needs more storage). Ads arent intrusive and sometimes even helpful if you want recommendations (theyre only in the title screen). If you get the normal version, you can pay $10 later to remove ads. I got the signature because of the auto light. Its pretty cool that you can walk outside and dont need to keep changing the brightness

It took me about a week to get used to reading a book on an e-reader as I have always purchased my books to put on a shelf. The Kindle Paperwhite SE is lightweight, convenient to pack, and has amazing battery life (almost three weeks worth now). Best part is no eye strain if you like to read at night in bed. Added bonus, if you fall asleep reading, it remembers exactly what page you were on...no flipping pages to discover where you stopped reading. I would recommend to all book lovers and have already recommended to each of my grown children.

Bought 2 of these for Christmas i believe it was. One for my mom and the other for my wife. These two have just been some reading machines. They love how easy it is to use and how many different books stored in one little device.

When it comes to reading books I’m old school, but this was the best investment I’ve made! I usually read at minimum an hour a day or more. I have yet to charge the kindle and it’s been two weeks!! I added on the kindle unlimited and legit have a great deal of books so I definitely recommend adding that as a feature. I love how I am able to see how many pages I have read and the percentage of how much I have read. You can customize the letter size and brightness which is great for someone like me who wears glasses, this has not hurt my eyes and I can read in bed without disturbing my husband. Bottom line if you love reading and on the fence about buying the kindle, just buy it, you won’t regret it.

I’ve been wanting to get back into reading for a while, and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition ended up being exactly what I needed. I originally tried using my iPad for ebooks, but the LED screen just wasn’t it. The eye strain was real, especially at night, and it made reading feel more like screen time than actual downtime.
