A: Hello Mary, Yes you can Highlight and make notes on a Kindle Paperwhite. When you have a selected book open, you are able to tap the screen and a prompt will come up. If you would like to highlight more than a word, you can tap and drag your finger across the text you would like to highlight or notate. Once you release your finger from the screen, a box will appear asking if you would like to "Highlight, Note, Share, Search, or More" to the selected text. I hope this helps!

To change the background color on a Kindle Paperwhite from white to black, you can enable dark mode: -Open the control panel by swiping down from the top of the screen or tapping the down arrow -Tap Dark Mode in the top right corner to turn it on You can also invert the black and white colors on a Kindle by going to Settings, then Accessibility, and then Invert Black and White. Avid Reader Loving Her Kindle Paperwhite!
Very lightweight. Screen takes getting used to and don’t have to charge it everyday. I enjoy it very much. It was delivered before scheduled date which was nice. The setup was short and simple. Highly recommend. Definitely do not have the added distractions that phones and iPads do. Unfortunately expensive but you can find cheap accessories so that’s a bonus.

My Kindle Paperwhite
I love the kindle paper white. It's so compact it's great for on the go reading that easily fit into your small purse or some jacket pockets. The lighting is easily adjusted and battery life is excellent. I recommend 10 out of 10.

Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition
First time I bought a Kindle, and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is great. Very compact & light. Easy to use. Easy to read. Pages look like the pages in a book. You can bookmark where you are, so you never lose your place. I highly recommend it.
