I would like to address a couple concerns for you that I am curious about. This device does in fact rotate in both eReader and in notetaking. Even the menu rotates. It does not go into landscape mode if that is what you mean. Also, the note taking has a multitude of options available to it by being able to automatically have notes saved in your Kindle app on other devices, has numerous customizations for your writing choices, has an eraser feature built into the other end of the premium pen, allows you to send PDFs to your Scribe via its own personal email address for your to write up, has a select amount of books that allow you to write directly on the books, has eBooks and access to a library of millions of books, has Bluetooth access to utilize Audible audiobooks, gives you the ability to create notes in any book at the tap of the pen tip, and does all of this at well below the price of Remarkable 2. The battery life also lasts for weeks at a time. I do hope that some of this gives you a few more reasons to give your Kindle Scribe another chance and gives you a few more reasons to enjoy this over any other device in its category. Returned and paid roughly $180 more for an iPad Air and much happier which is unfortunate, because I primarily wanted a device to read my library, take brief notes and do an occasional PDF import, mark-up and export on the case study.

The size makes it comfortable to read with little to no adjustments. For the reading process alone it is wonderful to have. It does lack some features that could have made it stand out. As it stands, it has a nice feel when note taking although the options are fairly basic. If you’re the type to scribble notes whenever you’re not reading it doesnt take away much from the experience. As it is an ereader first.

The ease of casual reading is applicable in any lighting conditions, including natural light. I have an application for the Kindle on my smartphone, but I find its larger version more convenient.

I love the fact it is a “no distraction “ device. I can read books, take and organize notes and share those notes with others as my handwritten notes or as text files created from my notes. I use this all day everyday and can’t imagine life without it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Kindle Scribe is so great because not only is it a large E Reader, but you can also write on it and take notes on various types of "paper." It writes really well and there's a good selection of different style pens (fountain pen, marker, pencil, etc) to write with. I was worried it would be heavy but it is pretty light weight and easy to hold for long periods of time. I do recommend getting a case that lets you prop it up. Overall in very satisfied with this product.
