I bought this for my wife she loves to read books and she is also constantly in meetings taking notes and working on different PDF format files and this Kindle is perfect she loves it uses it everyday. She feels more productive when using it definitely glad I got it

I use this to take notes for my remote job and it works perfectly, I love how the screen doesn’t strain my eyes and it has a long battery life

This tablet is really neat and I see myself getting use out of it. The sketch feature is convincingly close to being like paper. I don’t have many books yet as this is my first kindle, but I was able to read the book I do have very easily. When the backlight is off it looks almost exactly like paper. Having a backlight is very useful in the times you may be in a dim room. Though because of the nature of the e-ink display, it is not great at anything scrolling or moving on the screen. It’s built to display a static image, like text, so for the most part it’s not a big deal. The sketching ability is very responsive, comparable to drawing on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. Overall, for the price I was able to get it for I think it’s a real great device. I was able to get this device for over half off, so account for that in this review

I purchased the reader to reduce the impact of screen brightness from my usual devices and take advantage of the note taking features. The device is just okay. I knew going into this purchase there were no color options but wanted to try it anyways. I don’t use it as often as I thought I would. I find myself going back to the iPad as I really miss the option of writing with color in apple notes and reviewing color images when available in the book or pdf I’m reading. The device response is also a little slow when swiping or scrolling. The best feature is actually the note taking capabilities, but again there are no options for highlighting or writing in color.

No write-to-text feature and not waterproof, and it's still a Kindle so the home page centers around selling stuff, but overall I love writing on this thing and the texture and lighting levels are top notch.

I really enjoy this kindle, big upgrade from what I had. Really like the note taking aspect of it. It’s pricy but you will fall in love with it

The kindle scribe is fantastic. I love the new 10.2 size screen. The premium pen offers easy acsess to the notepad while reading and the response time for the pen to paper is phenomenal.

This was a retirement item for a colleague of mine. When i tell you shes in love. Shes able to read her book but then also write down key points and things she wants to remember about certain characters and paragraphs. By far the best gift ive given.

It's ok.. I love how it is for reading BUT with today's capabilities and what this costs, I would have loved for better web capabilities and a few more bells and whistles.

I've been doing a lot of research lately and it is fantastic for keeping track of my notes! Highly recommend for any academic. Only problem is the display is laggy but that is due to it being new technology.

I was hoping for an e-ink alternative to an iPad that might be lighter than the iPad. The weight of the scribe plus the limited functionality versus a basic iPad led me to return the Scribe. But, if Kindle books, pdf’s, and note taking are priorities to you, this is perfect.

User friendly, easy set up and very dependable. This product provides a array of functions and capabilities, from notes written dowel to then email them directly from the unit is great and saves time with work.

Love the large screen on this ereader and also the ability to write on the screen. A little pricey I thought but I read a lot and the larger screen is worth it.

I have nothing to compare it to aince this is my 1st ebook, but I love how I can write in my notebook section and easily go to the book that I am reading.

I absolutely love this! Reading books in landscape + double column mode is a game changer and I love being able to take notes and use a digital planner on this for work.

I love it ! I use it almost daily regardless of if I’m writing that day.
