    I have a Ring indoor cam plugged into this as I don't want the camera to even have power when we're home. I created an Alexa routine to turn it on when Ring is armed and off when disarmed. There are cheaper smart plugs, but I opted for Amazon as I don't want yet another app even if it's just for initial setup.

    We only have a few table and floor lamps. This is great. When we r out after the sun goes down I can just go into app and turn light on for our four legged fur baby

    Finally got my smart plugs to work , came with no instructions so had yo go on the internet ti figure it out. After trial and error finally got them to work and do far they are working. I like that I can control my lights when out of town.
