Smart plug confused owner

After trial and error finally got them to work and do far they are working. I like that I can control my lights when out of town.

Being able to turn lights on at home after dark from your phone across town is very helpful. I used one with my Christmas tree.

My smart home is loaded with Alexa products. the Alexa plug makes life a lot easier when entering or leaving a room. Just ask Alexa and your lamp is on or off.
