Works great! Even walls is not a problem. As for me, it covers a house over 2k sqft

I use this Amped Wireless - HELIOS-EX High Power AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender with DirectLink™ to extend the range of my DSL wireless router in my barn. This allows me to use my Arlo cameras inside and out side of my indoor arena which has sheet metal siding.

very poor connection between main router an amped. main router an amped both are 7-8 ft away fro each other and there is just one drywall between them but amped keeps disconnecting from main router and had to restart amped every other day. that was worked fine for about a month and then start issue. also it does not pass full speed or atleast half of main speed. it reduce about 80% speed and spread signal with only 20% of your mail speed.

This def boosted the wireless range i think the sq footage may be a big exaggerated but i gave eliminated my dead spots. Setup wasnt easy as i would have liked but was still pretty straight forward. I just wasn't able to set up through mobile.

Good: Setup extremely easy Bad: If the wifi system at home cover for small area the extended only double that area.

Not so user freindly. Have to reset many times. Overall ok product, would prefer better instruction manual.

This was so EASY to set up. I have no high tec training, I learn as I Go. This does what I want it to do. It has good range. I can now go outdoors and watch videos and Netflix.

Used it to extend my network in a 3200 sqft, 2 story home. I'm now able to enjoy WIFI out to the far corners of my yard as I mow the grass as well.

Works great with pretty good range. Used customer support to help with installation and they were very helpful.

This prodict seems to have a strong signal but it does not work with my Samsung TVs which are very mainstream devices. I would think they would have tested this.

From the reviews it had and how people boasts about this extender, I went with it. AAARRRGGG... Signal drops and had to re-setup at least 4-5x in a month. Thought it may have been a fluke or maybe an update with the system which dropped the signal, maybe the combination with my router, no clue. Had to return it before it was to late. Ended up going with another brand and haven't had any issues yet. Given it a 2 star since I don't know what exactly the cause. Way to may factors when it comes to networking. All I know this product didn't work for me.

I haven't had much of an issue with my WiFi range unless I'm sitting on my porch. With this extender, there are no issues at all. Set-up of the extender only takes a couple of minutes. All you do is connect the antennae, plug it in, and use any device to connect to the extender's WiFi (yes, any device, even a smartphone). The set-up is a simple to use website. You point it to your home network, then let it take a few minutes to establish a connection. You can then set up whatever names and passwords you want for both the 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz ranges. With it connected, I tested several devices on both the extended network, and my usual home network. In all cases, there was no difference in my download/upload speeds. The dedicated 5GHz connection to the home network lets you connect without any change at all to the usual connection speeds. There are also usual router features which you don't usually find on these extenders. If you want to set up a network-attached storage device, it has a USB 3.0 port. If you want to hard-wire into the extender, you can do that with up to 5 computers/devices. If you don't like the excess light of all the LEDs, you can even turn them off. All in all, this is a really nice WiFi extender with a lot more functionality than usual. I'm not the most technically proficient person, but it makes me wonder if you can set up a local network of computers without a general internet connection... All in all, if you need to extend the range of your network, you won't go wrong with this extender.

I would like for it to stay on line continuous. It goes off line and then I either have to reboot or switch over to the weaker WiFi.
