I usually don't expect much from sequels, but this one made me laugh quite a bit. However, the fight scene was forced and unfunny - almost uncomfortable to watch it was so bad. They were trying to re-create one of the funniest parts of the original movie and they failed. Still worth seeing though.

Anchorman 2 is very similar to the first movie, which may or may not be a good thing. The plot follows the same lines (Burgundy is replaced by his wife, goes off on a wild journey, and finds his way back to his family.) If you enjoyed the first edition, you'll probably enjoy this "retake" as well.

I didn't enjoy Anchorman 2 as much as the original movie, but it definitely has the same heart in it. I might have enjoyed it more if it had been trimmed to be a little shorter; it was a bit long, and it felt like it. But I liked it all the same. The disk is jam-packed with extras, which is awesome.

Anchorman 2 features the characters we've found so hilarious in the initial installment, centered around the always hysterical Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell). I enjoyed this movie quite a bit, though I admit the first Anchorman still has a special tone and freshness that I will always enjoy a bit more.

BRICK (STEVE CARELL) FUNNIER AND MORE AWKWARD THAN EVER IN THIS SEQUEL. THE SEQUEL TAKES PLACE IN THE 80'S AND THEY HIT THE BIG TIME WHEN THEY LAND A GIG AT GNN, ALSO BRICK FINDS A WOMEN WHO IS EXACTLY LIKE HIM (WHICH I DIDN'T THINK WAS POSSIBLE) . USUALLY SEQUELS ARE NOT AS FUNNY AS THE ORIGINAL BUT THIS ONE DOESN'T DISAPPOINT. IF YOU LIKED THE ORIGINAL THAN YOU WILL LOVE THIS ONE. IF YOU NEVER SEEN IT THAN GET BOTH, THE CAST OF THESE MOVIES WERE GREAT AND THE LAUGHS NEVER STOP. I REALLY HOPE THERE IS A 3RD ONE. THERE ARE SEVERAL VERSIONS OUT THERE SO GET THE ONE THAT HAS THE EXTRA JOKES YOU WON'T BE SORRY.

The first anchorman movie was a game changer in a lot of ways and I was glad they didn't rush a poorly conceived follow up. It was nice to see the news crew back and they certainly brought some laughs with them. Did the movie make complete sense? No, but none the less I'm glad I got the movie.

Definitely not as funny as the first Anchorman. This movie was a little sluggish and boring in parts, punctuated by hilarity. Whammy! It does seem they tried too hard and some parts are just awkward. Otherwise, I would probably put this movie on again for noise and maybe it will grow on me.

After watching 1001 Dodge Durango commercials featuring Ron Burgandy, I wondered if this movie could live up to the media hype. The plot was somewhat predictable, but the non-stop one-liners are what made this movie. The ending scene was cameo filled and to me worth the 90 minutes wait.

It's a great twist on how the news is shown today; no filler, just flash. The guys are great in their normal fashion. I've watched all three movies included and really funny each, but you have to see the Super-Sized R-Rated Version. It is hilarious and it brings it all together.

The time between sequels doesn't always guarantee success or in a comedies case that the follow up will be funnier, but in this case I believe that Anchorman 2 is actually better than the original, that can be debated, but there is no doubt this is an admiral second go around.

This was the sequel everyone who enjoyed Anchorman wanted to see. It's not bad but I felt the joke was wearing thin by the end. Still has some great if stereotypical, funny scenes. Great film for a night in with friends with that sense of humor - and some Scotch!

Movie was funny, but not quite like the first Anchorman. Seems like they tried to take some of the scences a little too far to make them funny and it just made them awkward. Outside of those, it was a good movie. Would recommend watching if you liked the first one.

Some weak parts in some areas, but overall a funny return. Love the characters and the return of Ron is always a good thing. They pay tribute to some of the jokes from the first, but definitely could have revisited a few more plays from last time to really go for it.

Three copies in one pack, and you can get it on mobile. Regular movie was pretty good but the extended version changed some jokes. Still a good movie and I need to watch it 17 more times to get every joke but I'm dedicated to cry laughing at Ron Burgandy and crew.

Okay, so Ron Burgundy and the News Team return in the highly anticipated, Anchorman 2. Now if you haven't seen this already, you're probably asking, but how does it compare to the original? Well, without hitting your headbrain with any spoilers, I'll tell ya this... IT IS HILARIOUS. The jokes are creative, funny, and very Will Ferrellish. Does the same shtick from the original still play well? Yes. Are the old characters still entertaining and engaging? Yes. If you liked the original, just do yourself a favor and watch the second.

Fans of the first Anchorman film will find much to enjoy in this sequel. The amazing extras make this worth purchasing even if you saw the movie in theaters. There are enough deleted scenes/alternate takes included to make up a completely different film.

My personal opinion is that if you enjoyed the first film, this one is fine too. It may seem to fall flat with some people as there weren't a lot of new types of humor, but the formula worked so well the first time, why fix something that's not broken?

This package was a good deal for the money. You get a blu-ray, a dvd, and an Ultraviolet upload to the Cloud. The movie is pretty good - if you liked the first movie, you'll probably like this one. Look for the extras - this version is loaded with them!

I had read some reviews and was a bit tainted, but once I watched it, I liked it. It was a worthy sequel. I wasn't sure where it was going, but when it got there, I was satisfied I didn't waste 2 hours of my life. If you liked the first, see this one.
