However, I would not recommend purchasing at full price. The game is fun for a quick round with friends, especially if inebriated, but it becomes obvious how shallow the game actually is after a few rounds.

Don't play this alone

A few friends can liven things up, but this is not the first game I'd reach for in a party situation. The included Amiibo for Isabelle and Rigby are a neat bonus, though. Worth it if you collect Amiibo.

Okay party game

The turnip gambling is cool and best part of the game. Little ones will get bored probably as fast as adults. Nothing hooked me about the game but I can see myself coming back to it a few times a year.
