Bought this for the family and it is really just a simple strategy: harvest items, perform tasks, and build out your custom island. Easy play and easy to lose track of time.

This game is a slow burn but in the best way possible. The game is what you make it, literally speaking in some cases. You can put in hours on end or just a few minutes at a time picking fruit and digging for fossils. There's always new visitors to your island with new things to buy, and events and updates from Nintendo always keep things fresh. If you've loved Animal Crossing games in the past, you know what you're getting into and this is the best one yet. If you're new to the franchise, this is the perfect game to jump into. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for the perfect time suck during quarantine!

Great game lots of customization of your island. Plenty of content added through updates. Online is nice to visit other islands and get ideas for your own island.

Not just for the kids!! Animal crossing appears very cutesy on the surface, but the game has a lot to offer in terms of depth and complexity to both experienced and new gamers alike. Animal crossing has to be by far the best game to put in the hands of a brand new gamer. I recently purchased an ACNH Switch Console for my girlfriend who is certainly not a gamer… she’s easily logged 15 hours in the game over the course of the last few evenings and has already begun researching other games she may enjoy playing on her new switch.

This is the best one yet. there is so much more to do than the rest and I have been playing it daily since I purchased it. If you are a fan of the series this is a must buy.

I LOOOVVVEEEEE this game. It’s so fun and relaxing. You don’t even realize that you’ve been playing it for hours. The graphics really draw you in and make you lose yourself.

I brought this back when it was released and I love it. It’s the best game ever you can relax to. You can do everything at your pace and have a island to you!

Ive played every single Animal Crossing game, and this one might be the best yet. There's so much customizing you can do now - changing the layout of your island, moving villagers' houses around, being able to put furniture and other items outside, the list goes on. Super customizable experience, if you get addicted to this game, you will easily spend hundreds of hours perfecting your house and island. Runs great as well, the load times are slightly long, and visiting other players' islands is sort of a hassle, but that's Nintendo games for you. Overall, a lovely experience.

Excellent game. Mildly addictive. My husband and I play this. Don't be discouraged if your timeline doesn't match his. The game and it's events are random.

This is one of the first games I bought for the Switch, which I also bought right in the beginning of quarantine. I can honestly say that even though I also bought Breath of the Wild around the same time, all I want to do is play Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You wouldn't think that living on a virtual deserted island and being in eternal debt to a tanuki named Tom would be as much fun as it is, but it is. One of my favorite aspects of the game is the ability to live on a COVID-free island and have the ability to pay off enormous debts at no interest. In all seriousness, buy this game, it won't disappoint.

It's a simple and easy game. Developing an island is super simple and creative. The directions are easy to follow. It's a good game for a casual gamer.

Caved in and randomly bought animal crossing to see what the hype is about and my only regret is waiting til now to buy it. I've spent so many hours playing this game and I just purchased it two weeks ago. This is fun for moms, dad's, kids, anyone in the family! I wasn't sure how I felt about a game that you'll want to play every day but I love it. It's a play at your own pace game which makes it easier for those with busy schedules or those with kids who can't pay full attention to a game. Cant wait to get the animal crossing switch case to March my console now!

Really great game, its like fantasy life. If i had to give it a genre it would be like a slice of life. Play an hour or so per day and continue next day same thing. Smooth and slow but i actually advanced a lot in a day so its not hard. I love how cute it is and managing your own island is pretty sweet.

I had bought a physical copy even tho i owned a digital copy, that’s how much i absolutely adore this game. animal crossing is hands down one of the greatest sozy game experiences you can have. at times it can get a little repetitive but for the most part it’s an amazing experience.

Animal Crossing games are the best games ever created. They do exactly what a video game is suppose to do. They are relaxing and fun to play. I have been a fan of the games since the first one on the Nintendo Gamecube. Every time they make a new one, they keep getting better and better. Don't believe any negative reviews online, there are people who just want to badmouth Nintendo as much as they can they have never played these games. There is something new to do in the game everyday so you never get bored. If you want a relaxing game to play this is the game for you. Anyone can play this game age doesn't matter.

Bought this game for my sisters. They've been wanting to play it for a while and they love it. They seem to like it and its a good way to pass the time for them. Love to see it
