Theres so much todo in the game at a good pace. Its not overbearing and creativly fun.

Love this game! I am 23 and play this whenever I can catch a few moments of free time. I love that I can play it in front of any age group, and still enjoy myself. In my opinion, it is not a "child-ish" game, but instead just a simple one. Because it is simple, it is also calming! Yes - even for the price - I would recommend this game to ANYONE from 1 - 99! The way they have manufactured this game, it would be no problem for an elderly person to be able to follow along and enjoy themselves.

I love it! After I slowly drifted away from New Leaf I wondered when the next game would be and now this is out and I’m glad.

I play this game still to this day and it's almost been a year since it's come out! Playing it with my friends and siblings has been a blast and great way to connect when meeting in person has been difficult. Plus there is so much to do and room for different looks on your island, home or your character! The updates have been fantastic and it's honestly been one of my favorite things of 2020! Definitely a great game for both hardcore and casual gamers.

From her: Easy to understand for the casual gamer. Enjoys customizing and crafting - especially changing outfits. Loot system may seem too generous at times, but it is a welcome feature. From me: Great loot system. Nothing ever feels hard to come by. Loot is generous and not much is required to craft. In-game currency is plenty if you did not want to wait and collect to craft. Does not feel like there is much of a “grind” to collect items and craft things you want, which is good in this case.

Very addicting and fun. I’ve put a lot of hours into this since purchasing with no regrets. There is always something to do on the island. Would recommend!! Light & cozy game.

Nintendo has released another great Animal Crossing game! All the classic staples are here - Catching and collecting bugs and fish, living in a town with your animal residents, and having an overall great, relaxing real-time experience. There’ve been new changes as well, like automatic stacking of materials, the crafting system from the mobile game, and the ability to create your town from scratch. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, it’s a great experience that I think you’ll enjoy!

This game is amazing! Plain and simple...they really hit the mark!!! I didn’t think I would like this game, but the more I watched it being played, the more I wanted it. I now have an island and I’m working on it every day! Controls are easy, and the flow of the game is your pace! I can’t wait to see what else the game has in store for me! Possibilities seem endless! Plenty of ways to earn in game currency, and I’ve been able to pay loans off fairly quickly. This game is truly for everyone!!!

This game is fantastic and easily accessible for even those new to video games. It is an enjoyable escape from the grim reality we’re all living in right now and can be played at whatever pace, in long or short increments of time—however you please. This isn’t a typical game that can be ‘won’ in a normal sense. It is an experience that is relaxing and fun, and all the better if you have friends or family who also play. It’s a great way to stay connected while staying home & keeping safe.

Absolutely love it someday as if you play too much it gets a little repetitive but I really like it

This game has been a quarantine lifesaver! We found out the hard way that you can only have 1 island and 1 main player per Switch. So we stalked the Best Buy page and grabbed 3 more Switches and 3 more game cartridges so that the kids (and mom) can have their own Switch and their own island. Only the high schooler shares an island with his sister because he’s too cool to play Animal Crossing. We spend HOURS on this every day and love it. It’s been a great bonding time with my kiddos!!

The best game so far in my opinion. So addicting as well. This game helped me so much especially during lockdown.

This game was released at the perfect time during this ongoing situation in the world. Escape reality to a new island and start living a your life among other villagers! I have been waiting for so long to be able to play this game with my wife and friends and now I can't put it down. Nintendo nailed a lot of thing right in this game and added features I'd never thought would be so great. They still need to make improvements like the ability to craft multiple items at once but I'm hopeful that would come in an update one day. Another issue I have is the process you have to go through to get online and either visit someone else or have your friend visit you and I don't think this will ever change until Nintendo realizes that their online has been lacking all these years. But they must know they did something right because so many players have been sharing their creations online. If you're new to the series, do yourself a favor and give it a try. It's hard to explain how this game can be fun, it just is.
