I have never played any animal crossing game before and I am so glad I finally decided to check this out. This is such a fun game!! I’m sorry I didn’t pick it up sooner. Building out your island, customizing your character and taking part in seasonal events are so fun! It’s no wonder people can spend hours playing this game! Still early on but I’ve played it every day since I got it. Highly recommend!

Much awaited and anticipated Animal Crossing just came in the perfect time to keep you entertained for hours specially now that most of us are staying home. I bought 4 copies of this game for my wife and kids! They all escape to their own islands and refuse to come back to reality which we are all dealing with right now, cant blame them!

Good game easy to follow along lovely character development

I've loved this series ever since I got Animal Crossing: Wild World. For old players it's the same game but revamped in a way never imagined. For new players it's an experience that's very unique and I don't believe can be found anywhere else. It's a calm and soothing came that also can keep your attention from the moment you land on the island. I would love for others to experience this game.

I absolutely love this game!!! I can play it for hours and hours. I’m 37 FYI. It’s just very relaxing. Also Best Buy was fast on the delivery... So glad I was able to find it bc target GameStop,etc were all sold out!!!! Please get it you won’t be sorry. Also this game I play on the Nintendo switch lite I would buy the physical copy bc if you download the digital copy you can only play when you are connected to WiFi.

This is my first Animal Crossing game and it has made me an AC fan for life. I am obsessed with my little island where my life is so much better than it is in the real world. I'm cuter, I know how to swim, and I'm not afraid of bugs. I'm also so much better at saving money in the game than in reality. How does that work? Could someone explain it to me? I need therapy for my shopping addiction

New Horizons is another addictive entry in the Animal Crossing series. You move to a deserted island that you can develop into a thriving place with cute animal residents. Activities include fishing, catching bugs, watering flowers, and decorating your house. It's a pretty calm game that's appropriate for all ages. I last played the series with New Leaf for 3DS, and I'm definitely enjoying myself again this time around.

Great and fun game to play. Graphics are awesome and the whole family can play it.

Animal Crossing has kept our family of four from killing each other during the coronavirus pandemic and has given us a reason to look forward to tomorrow. I have made the home office of my dreams in my A.C. house and will sometimes have my character just sit in there (in real life I am teaching college courses from my bedroom). If only we could share the Switch but all have our own islands and then it would be perfect.

Daughter has been wanting this game for a while. The price is great. Game is awesome.

I was like other people who were on the fence and wasn't sure about this game. I really didn't understand the appeal of it and I decided to give it a try because of all the good things I've been hearing about it. Wow, this game is really fun and relaxing! Me and my girlfriend haven't been able to put it down! If you're undecided, give it a chance like we did and it might change your mind. Great way to pass the time!

My daughters are both over 16 and have loved Animal Crossing since they were little, and it was a Wii game. So glad it's available for the Switch now. It's a fun and clean game and teaches about buying, selling, creating, home ownership, getting out of debt etc. etc. Nintendo also has an option to buy a yearly membership to be able to play with each other on- line when you live in two different households or towns.

It's more of a life simulation with quirky characters, collectibles, habitat customizations, and little surprises here and there with no major conflicts or world ending scenarios. Fish, dig, chop trees, create furniture and tools, sell things, and catch bugs. Then you rinse and repeat. Personalize your whole island and show it off to your friends. A good game for those who want to play in a stress free environment.

Runs well on the switch. The art is fun and geared towards the younger crowd. The NPCs all have distinct personalities and the game does not get boring.

This game is really enjoyable! Day 1 pick up and there's always something to do on that island. But the game isn't made for players looking for a story or deep mechanics. This game is made to be simple for those looking to de-stress, whether you've had a bad day or just feeling lonely. WARNING, This game registers 1 island per console, so if you are sharing a console with multiple accounts expect to share the island.

I pre ordered this game as my first animal crossing game Ive ever played and it was the best game purchase I’ve ever made! Ive had the game for about a month now and, especially with everyone having to stay home, I have easily gotten in over 200 hours of gameplay! Theres so much to do in this game that even after playing as many hours as I have, I still have a lot of work to get done on my island! Highly recommend!

I immediately knew I wanted to buy this once it was announced. I have not been let down! I’ve played animal crossing throughout my years (City folk and New leaf). This was definitely a step up! It is such a relaxing game to play at the end of the day to rewind and I love all my neighbors! The new craft option really makes things feel real and I’m not just scrambling to get money. I love it playing this game so much!

I had never played animal crossing before New Horizons. On paper, it’s just not my style of game whatsoever. But during the pandemic I gave it a shot and now I’m in love. You might get bored of it with time, but not until you’ve dumped 100+ hours into it. I bought this copy for a friend who’s getting my old Switch after I upgraded to the OLED model.
